On the afternoon of May 19, 2022, a four-man expert panel from the Sichuan Provincial Laboratory Animal Management Committee visited Maxvax Biotech and conducted the on-site acceptance of an animal laboratory on the 5th floor of its R&D Center in Chengdu.

The acceptance meeting was presided over by Mr. Bing Chen from the government office and attended by Dr. Dexiang Chen, General Manager of Maxvax Biotech, Ms. Jing Chen and Ms. Xijing Fang Maxvax’s quality control team, and other main stakeholders.

Ms. Chen introduced in detail the construction background, facility environment, personnel qualification, document system, biosafety, and harmless disposal of waste at the animal laboratory at Maxvax. The panel examined the animal laboratory by listening to reports, on-site inspection, reviewing documents, and agreed in unison that the existing facility environment for experimental animals meets the national standards, the instruments & equipment and related personnel there are in place, the relevant systems and procedures are well established, and the application materials are fully prepared, which all reach the review requirements for the laboratory animal use permit.
